Lucia Piccinini
The town of my birth, lies in the picturesque region of Marche, Italy. This charming area offers a perfect blend of mountains and coastal beauty. From here I developed a deep appreciation for the environment and a sense of responsibility to respect and protect it.
This connection with nature has influenced my architectural approach, fostering a commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly design practices that aim to minimize the impact on the environment while creating spaces that seamlessly blend with their natural surroundings.
My desire for adventure and curiosity to challenge myself with bigger international architecture always lingered, so I moved to London in 2014, seeking new opportunities and greater horizons in my architectural career.
My focus was and is on designing homes that optimize functionality and elevate the overall quality of life for the occupants.
Afterwards, the scale of my projects evolved, and I began collaborating with private landlords and investors, including esteemed groups like Nanda group Sheen lane development, and main contractors such as JRL group.
My primary focus shifted towards residential and mixed-use buildings, including conversions, change of use, and refurbishment of run-down buildings and houses. Additionally, I worked on new constructions in degraded plots of land.
With over 12 years of professional experience in both the UK and Italy, my expertise spans various architectural endeavors, including new construction, conversions, refurbishments, extensions, and loft conversions for residential, office, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use buildings. Guided by a profound commitment to environmental stewardship, I am deeply passionate about crafting sustainable and innovative architectural solutions. My unwavering dedication lies in contributing to a greener future and making a positive impact on communities through my work.
